Zbigniew Niewójt

Acting Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector Mr Zbigniew Niewójt – graduated from the Medical Academy in Lublin and completed post-graduate studies in the Institute of Public Health at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In 1992 he obtained a first-degree specialisation in community pharmacy.

  Zbigniew Niewójt, Deputy Main Pharmaceutical InspectorHis professional career started in 1985 in Przedsiębiorstwo Zaopatrzenia Farmaceutycznego “Cefarm” in Lublin where he completed his pharmacy internship. He held the position of junior assistant in a hospital pharmacy in the Voivodship Hospital Complex in Biała Podlaska. In 1986, he was promoted to Manager of the Department of Organisation and Supervision of the Voivodship Hospital Complex and participated in the management and organisation of the medical division. In 1989, Zbigniew Niewójt started his career in pharmaceutical inspection where he worked as a Pharmaceutical Inspector in the Voivodship Office in Biała Podlaska. In the period from 1992 to 1998 he was the Voivodship Pharmaceutical Inspector in Biała Podlaska. In 1999 – 2000, held the position of Manager of the Branch Office of the Voivodship Pharmaceutical Inspectorate in Lublin with its registered office in Biała Podlaska.


Since 2000, Zbigniew Niewójt participated in the organisation of a new Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate where he acted in the capacity of the Director of the Supervision Department of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate. In 2004, after winning the competitive process, he assumed the position of the Director of the Supervision Department. In 2006, he was promoted by the Prime Minister to the position of Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector. Between 2006–2007 he advised the President for Medicinal Products in the Office of the President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. On 7 March 2007, Niewójt was appointed the Deputy Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector.

Krzysztof Pajączek

Director General Mr Krzysztof Pajączek – graduate from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Łódź, post-graduate studies in the Institute of Public Health in Łódź and Warsaw School of Economics, first-degree specialist in hygiene and epidemiology and second degree specialist in public health. In 2006, he was awarded the academic title of Doctor of Medicine.

Krzysztof Pajączek, Director General

Krzysztof Pajączek is professionally engaged in public service – he has been a civil servant since 2000. He possess extensive experience in management of public administration institutions, including 10-year experience at the position of Director General. His professional career has been devoted to institutions involved in health protection – he worked as the Head of the Organisational and Legal Division of the Public Health Department in the Ministry of Health, in 2000–2006 he held the position of Director General of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, in 2006-2008 he was the Director of the Health Department in the Ministry of Interior and Administration. On 2 February 2009, the Prime Minister appointed him the Director General of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate.
In 1998, Pajączek completed his internship in the European Commission in Luxembourg in the Directorate for Public Health and Occupational Hygiene. Pajączek often attends national and foreign conferences. He represented Poland in numerous organisations and on international forums on public health.

He speaks English, Spanish and, at a communicative level, German.

Married, has two daughters.
